How can horses help our Community’s youth?
Desert Dove Farm offers an innovative Equine Therapy Program for Youth and Families in our Community.
Please join Faye Gandolfi, Equine Specialist and Laurie Barnhart, LMFT for an interactive workshop. You will learn first hand how Desert Dove Farm helps youth improve their self-esteem, develop perseverance and stronger communication skills through the use of horses. We will explain how our modality works, our training, and the referral process. This is an interactive workshop so you, as an attendee, will have the option of working hands on with our horses and trying the same challenges presented to our participants.
