Faye Gandolfi, Founder, Executive Director
Faye has been certified by EAGALA, the Equine Assisted Growth
and Learning Association, since 2001. Her lifetime passion and
experience with horses, combined with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Criminal Justice and working in the Pima County Attorney’s Office led
her to become the Founder of Desert Dove Farm. Faye remains
actively involved with EAGALA and became advanced certified in
2008. She currently acts as a mentor for other EAGALA equine
specialists. Her knowledge allows her to help clients have
experiential interactions with horses to help them improve life skills.

Laurie Barnhart, LMFT received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with
a minor in Anthropology from the

learned about the EAGALA model and how effective it was in helping
children and families learn life skills. She has received advanced

Director for Desert Dove Farm.
